Pattern is written in US terms; a conversion chart is included at the end.
Row 1: Make a magic ring (alternatively, ch4, sl st to beg ch to form a ring); ch1, work 8 hdc into ring; sl st to beg hdc. (8 hdc)
Row 2: Ch1, 2dc cluster in each space around; sl st to beg cluster. (8 x 2dc clusters)
Fasten of Red and change to Green.
Row 3: Ch1, (2 x 2dc clusters, ch1) in each space around; sl st to top of first cluster. (16 clusters; 16 ch1 spaces). Fasten of Green and change to White.
Row 4: Sl st to next ch1 space, ch1; *(2dc cluster, Ch1) twice in next sp; (2dc cluster, ch1) in next sp; rep from * around; sl st to top of beg cluster. (24 x 2 dc clusters; 24 x ch1 spaces). Fasten off White and change back to Green.
Row 5: Sl st to next ch1 space, ch1; *(2dc cluster, ch1) twice in next sp; 1 x 2dc cluster in next 2 spaces; rep from * around; sl st to beg cluster. (32 x 2 dc clusters; 32 x ch1 spaces). Fasten off Green and change back to White.
Row 6: Ch1, dc in same st and in the top of every cluster and every ch1 sp around, sl st to beg dc. (64 dc). Fasten off White and change back to Red.
Row 7: Ch1, 2 dc in same stitch; *dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st, rep from * to last 3 sts, dc in next st; 2dc in next st; dc in next st; sl st to beg dc. (78 dc)
